About
Beech Architects

Beech Architects is a RIBA Chartered practice with a specialism for design led projects for individuals, public and private sector clients. We have great experience of housing design, from house extensions through to developments of over 100 dwellings.

Our architecture studio in Thorndon, Suffolk, in the heart of East Anglia, gives us great access to projects across the region and further afield. We work on schemes with a construction value of £20,000 upwards throughout Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex and Cambridgeshire.

The practice has a strong interest in sustainable design and materials which can be seen in more detail on our sustainability page. We believe in contextual contemporary design that is low energy, carefully thought out and a joy to live and work in!

The practice is led by directors Craig Beech & Ruth Paternoster who trained in Architecture at The University of Sheffield and The University of Nottingham. They have previous experience of projects across the United Kingdom and have delivered complicated projects from feasibility stage to completion with values of over £10million. Both have managed teams on the construction of University buildings, schools, care homes, retirement villages, large housing developments, public house refurbishments, one off houses and house extensions.

Projects delivered have won awards from the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, local authority design awards and civic society commendations.
